Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and Transfer Kaziranga
On reaching Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, our representative will receive you and assist you with the transfer to Kaziranga National Park, famous for the one-horned rhinoceros. The journey allows you to see the beautiful environment in Assam, including tea gardens and countryside scenes. Once you arrive, proceed directly to check into your hotel and take a break from your journey. Take a comfortable night’s stay at Kaziranga before the wildlife exploration trips commence the next day.

Day 2: Exploring Kaziranga National Park
Get up early for a thrilling elephant back adventure, which gives you a better view of the wild. While roaming through different areas of the park, you might glimpse one-horned rhinoceros and other animals, including hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, and, of course, a tiger if you are lucky! There are also wetlands in the park with various birds, such as pelicans, storks, and darters. End your day by retiring back to your hotel for the night.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Kaziranga National Park and Transfer to Shillong
Post breakfast, proceed for Shillong – the splendid capital of Meghalaya, also known as the ‘Scotland of the East’ because of its beautiful scenery & salubrious climate. While driving through the route, you can see many interesting visuals, including hills, green forests, and beautifully constructed villages. On the way, visit Umium Lake, an artificial but beautiful dam on the backdrop of hilly terrains. Here, the lake’s waters are as smooth as a mirror, and the surroundings have many greens. The remaining part of the day is yours to spend time as you wish, whether visiting the local markets or savoring local meals as you enjoy the cool and fresh air. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 4: Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 2 hrs)
Following an early breakfast, get ready for a day-long visit to Cherrapunjee, famous for being one of the wettest places on the earth. Start with Nohkalikai Falls, one of India’s highest waterfalls, a waterfall that cascades into a pool with cliffs of green foliage. After that, visit the Mawsmai Caves. On the way to Shillong back, stop at Elephanta Falls for Hunkers Point and Shillong Peak for a beautiful view of the city. Return to Shillong in the evening and stay overnight in the city.

Day 5: Sightseeing in Shillong Sightseeing and Transfer to Guwahati (100 km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, please proceed to the Don Bosco Museum, which displays and preserves the cultural essence of the Northeast region of India through its displays. After visiting your desired museum, you can walk at Ward’s Lake. Then, transfer to Guwahati. Arrive at the respective destination and go to your hotel. In the evening, you can take an hour-long sunset cruise at the Brahmaputra River, where you can watch the calm river and the setting sun directly on your own. Retrace your steps back to Guwahati for overnight accommodation in the hotel.

Day 6: Departure from Guwahati
After breakfast, proceed to the Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important pilgrimages for the goddess Kamakhya. The temple, beloved for its architecture and religious missions, is open daily from 8 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon and from 3 in the afternoon to nighttime. It may be possible to modify the visit to the temple based on your departure time. Finally, continue your journey to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, ending your beautiful tour of Northeast India.
