Day 1: Entering Paro!

On reaching Paro airport which will hardly take an hour to reach, you can get hired cars available outside the airport to drop you at the hotel.

Half day sightseeing begins…

In the afternoon you can leave for half day Paro sightseeing. You can start with the famous Rinpung Dzong or commonly known as Paro Dzong.

After spending an hour, you can head off to the National Museum of Bhutan to have a look at the culture and tradition of the Bhutanese culture. From there you can travel to the most popular Chele La Pass in Paro. The winding trails of the path will excite you for hiking and return down after viewing the Paro city from the top.

Day 2: Soak in the spirituality of Tiger’s Nest Monastery!

After early morning breakfast, set off for a 10 kilometers drive to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery.

This place is highly sacred to the Bhutanese locals in which they believe that Guru Rinpoche has landed here on the back of a tigress. The trek to the monastery takes about 3 hours and the scenic beauty is not to be missed. You can either walk or take rides to the breathtaking cliffside monastery.

After soaking into the peace of the monastery you can walk up the same trail to reach the ruins of another fortress-monastery, Drukyel Dzong and return to your hotel. In the evening you can do some shopping for your family and savor the traditional dishes of Bhutan to experience the real essence of Bhutan.

Day 3: Time to leave the beautiful city!!
